These books are so fun!
Very enjoyable series
Do NOT start this book unless you have the entire series. I'm warning you! Unless, of course, you're one of those few who enjoy waiting for the next book. Then, by all means, ... For the rest of us, I am very happy I bought the set, such as it was. There were books to come when I began, but I had the first five, so I was okay. And yes, I have the entire set, now. I think. LOL.
It's a great series. Dreary, dingy, Los Angeles. Familiar. Elderly neighbor in a run-down apartment complex. Check. Weird landlord. So what else is new? A dog that comes and goes as it chooses. Fine. Even a gay neighbor. A handsome gay neighbor, who's an actor; a successful actor. OH, yeah, and a main character who just broke up with his girlfriend. Where do I sign up? Sounds like my kind of place. Well, during the day, anyway.
Go ahead. Order it. Oh, heck, order the complete set. You won't be disappointed. Unless, of course, this isn't "your genre", in which case, be prepared to have your mind changed. 'Cause, if it isn't, it will be halfway through Book 1.
I have been a sci/fi fantasy reader for over 45 years. Jonathan has made me feel welcome to ask any question, make /any comment, and throughly enjoy the fan experience. H4H was my first series, Gangsta Pixies - Nuff said.
His books don't go together with Lens wipes (they smudged), but then I found out it was my glasses and not the book.
Really loved the stories- great characters- hoping there are more books coming in the series.
